Ender’s Game

It has been over fifty years since the buggers attacked Earth. But now, we suspect they are preparing for a final assault. Our last hope is a small boy named Ender Wiggin. He is selected for officer training in Battle School, a space training facility near the Asteroid Belt. He must give up his childhood if he is going to save the human race from extinction by an extraterrestrial attack. He must go through the hardest time in his life trying to survive the harshness of Battle School. He is quickly promoted, but is soon transferred to a simulation training facility where he is in for the biggest surprise of his life.

An entertaining book that that is fairly well written, but well thought out. It is one of my favorites because of the adventurous side of it. Orson Scott Card gives Ender great character development. There were some scenes that I had a tough time getting through. Definitely a PG 13 book for some families due to some nudity, violent scenes, and some language. A book that shows the progression of manhood and the mental instabilities that come with it.
